Helping Hands

Westfield Church is well-known for its compassion, concern, and care of its members and the community at large. Historically, needs are met with love and generosity, prayers are abundant and consistent, and individuals are loved and cherished. To focus this outpouring of compassion and love, the Deacons have created a ministry, Helping Hands of Westfield.  This is a group of volunteers who offer physical, practical aid to members:  repairing a roof leak, replacing a broken toilet or faucet, painting, to name a few. Through Helping Hands is not equipped to do major renovations or repairs, all minor repairs will be considered. Tentatively, the plan is to offer this service one Saturday a month, as needed.

Westfield members will be given first priority, but the prayer is to expand this ministry into the Mohawk community.  If you or a family member would be blessed by this ministry, there are several ways to make your need known.  First, there are short forms that can be downloaded, printed, filled out, and placed in the Deacons box located in the church office.  Or, if it is more convenient for you, you may contact Bob Hammond at 724.714.1593. He will take all necessary information and coordinate the repair.
