Sunday

At Westfield Church, we gather as a community of faith to worship the Lord together at 11 am on Sunday mornings. Every church follows some type of pattern and we structure ours as a call and response. God invites us to himself in worship and respond with praise. We confess our need to him and he responds with love and forgiveness. We pray. We hear from the Scriptures. We sing and leave with his blessing. Our church is made up of different ages and walks of life, and our worship tries to reflect that. We sing a mixture of traditional hymns, new songs, and choruses. We have a choir, a hand bell choir, a contemporary band, as well as traditional instruments like piano and organ.

We celebrate the Lord’s Supper (Eucharist/Communion) regularly. Everyone who confesses faith in Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior and has been baptized is welcome to participate in this sacrament. Baptism is offered upon request and must be approved by the church session (elder board).

An infant nursery and toddler nursery are offered.

Handicapped Accessibility. Our covered portico and elevator service to all levels of our church make it accessible for people with disabilities.

Coffee and Conversation. Before and after Sunday School and worship join us in the Parlor for light refreshments and a chance to relax and get to know each other.
