Food Warriors

One of the ways we are able to serve our community is through Food Warriors. This year, First Baptist New Castle reached out for us to take over this important ministry that helps our students, who need food over the weekend, to have that.

Once a month, a few of us go to Bread Basket in New Castle to pick up boxes of food that will provide meals for 120 students for each weekend of the month. We organize an assembly line in the Fellowship Hall and pack it (see photos at left). Mohawk School comes to pick it up.

This is a practical way for us to show the love of Jesus. If you’d like to be a part of this, reach out to the office to let us know.
