Everyone’s Christmas Story – Christmas Dinner Theater

Saturday, December 16, 6:00 p.m.

Highland Meadows Farm,

551 McClain Road, Enon Valley

How do you tell an old story in a new way, especially when it’s the most important story of all?  That’s the problem facing a young writer who is trying to write the annual church Christmas play.  Bored by the same old manger and angels and shepherds, she tries to liven it by turning the humble and familiar characters into pop stars, superheroes, gangsters, and circus performers in her imagination.  She has loads of fun during this creative process, interacting with her jazzed-up versions of these characters.  Yet, as they play out the story in her bedroom, she starts to see things differently and comes to realize how amazing the Biblical account really is…  just the way it is, was, and always will be.  She realizes it’s truly everyone’s story.

Join us this holiday season for a comedic  tale of a writer struggling to recapture the meaning of the greatest story ever told. You’ll get a chance to interact with the traditional and beloved characters of the incredible account of Jesus’ birth as well as some unexpected guests. There are guaranteed to be a lot of laughs and a rekindling of your love for the miraculous event that changed the world.

Everyone is welcome to experience a joyful morning of food and fellowship as we kick-off our fall Sunday School programs. Please join us at 10:00 a.m. on September 10 to visit the adult and children’s departments and see what we are learning.
